Overview
tevGYM is the gym product on TevOS, built for gyms in Ghana where cash and mobile money are everyday and a phone number is how members are known. Owners see the week at a glance, the front desk checks members in and out and takes payment, and members carry a QR card on their phone that a self-service kiosk scans at the door. Classes run on a real calendar, with every session holding its own roster and attendance. Each gym runs on its own subdomain with its own payment and SMS accounts, and one gym's data never reaches another. Five gyms run on tevGYM today.
What we delivered
- Owner dashboard with takings, visits, active memberships and members who need attention
- Front desk for check-in, check-out and payment, with receipts sized for an 80mm till printer
- Membership plans priced at the moment of sale, so a price change never reprices an existing member
- Class timetable turned into dated sessions, each with its own bookings, roster and attendance
- Member portal on the phone with a QR membership card, days remaining and class booking
- Cash, mobile money and card payments through each gym's own Paystack account, plus SMS broadcasts
- Tenant isolation enforced in the database, not only in the application
